Ring Editorial Review
The upgraded floodlight camera has garnered a generally positive reception from customers, particularly those transitioning from battery-operated models to hardwired systems. Users appreciate the enhanced detection capabilities, citing improved motion tracking and clarity of the camera's video quality, especially in low-light conditions. The floodlight's brightness has also received commendation for being a significant improvement over previous versions. Installation experiences, however, vary widely. While some users found the setup straightforward due to existing wiring, others encountered Considerable challenges stemming from inadequate instructions, especially if they lacked a pre-existing junction box. In these cases, the lack of clear guidance and parts made the installation process frustrating. Additionally, while most users enjoyed the good sound quality, there were complaints regarding the volume control being erratic. Critiques also arose regarding the perceived overpromising of features like video resolution and subscription pricing. Some customers felt that the advertised upgrades did not justify the higher cost compared to earlier camera versions. Ultimately, while the camera's efficiency and image quality are notable strengths, it's clear that the installation process can be problematic, and expectations about additional features should be tempered. **
