- The Shelly Wave 2PM US Z-Wave 800 & Z-Wave LR Relay Module with Power Monitoring mounts behind a switch or outlet to add Z-Wave and Z-Wave LR automated functionality, remote On/Off control, and power monitoring, to up to two electrical loads in your home or business. The Wave 2PM supports up to 7A for a single load or 14A to two loads simultaneously to add Z-Wave automated control over appliances, computers, or overhead lighting from a switch or outlet. Once installed, the Wave 2PM will automatically connect to your existing Z-Wave network and enable your connected devices to respond to remote commands and automated scenes, as well as monitor energy consumption of devices connected to your selected switches or outlets. The Wave 2PM utilizes Z-Wave 800 and Z-Wave LR wireless technology to provide reliable and long range connectivity, increased encryption protection, and easier setup into Z-Wave networks. The Shelly Wave 2PM US fits in behind a wall switch or outlet, and requires a neutral wire for setup. In order to utilize Z-Wave LR communications, a Z-Wave LR compatible gateway or hub is required. Unlike standard Z-Wave mesh protocols, Z-Wave LR works as a star network, connecting a Z-Wave gateway directly to a Z-Wave LR device up to 1 mile (1.6km) away without using any other Z-Wave devices as a signal relay or node. Enjoy enhanced home automation control and precise monitoring of your Shelly devices no matter where you are with the Shelly Smart Control app. The app connects to Shelly's cloud service to help you control your connected devices remotely and send notifications for all automated events in your home directly to your smart device.
