Question:
Has anyone tried this on a 2017 international airstream ?
Answer: I purchased this latch to replace the broken latch on my 2018 23FB AS. It was a perfect replacement. But note that my latch came with a common key unlike the unique keys used on the original. You can get a unique lock barrel from a locksmith or Southco. -
Question:
Spring loaded adjustable
Answer: The lock is not spring loaded (if that’s your question). It doesn’t need to be. Once it is unlocked you just push the top of the lock to pop it out and turn to unlock. The latch plate is adjustable using the nuts provided. I think you can see better pictures on the Southco website. It’s a fairly simple latch. Also note that my latch came with a fairly common key so it is not as secure if it came with unique key. The lock barrel can be replaced with a uniquely keyed barrel if needed for improved security but these a fairly easy latches to break into using a crowbar. -
