However, it does not include a gasket into which the mirror can be placed. The product will work fine if only the mirror fell off, as it comes with adhesive to stick on. However, if you have a pre-existing heated mirror setup, this replacement glass may not work as the heating elements are embedded in the glass itself, not in the mirror housing. The product is easy to install, but it's advisable to ensure that it's the right fit for your particular car by taking accurate measurements. Customer experience and reception: - The product was a perfect fit for their 1997 Subaru Impreza Outback, with easy installation instructions, and worked great. - The product was an exact fit for their 2004 Subaru Impreza, and they were satisfied with the adhesive holding up. - The product works fine and is perfect for the 2003 WRX model, but the heating element melted on one customer's installation.
