Inline Patch Telephone Audio Recorder Interface

### Editorial Review The Inline Patch Telephone Audio Recorder Interface is a product that garners a mixed reception from customers. While many users appreciate its functionality, reporting that it works "100% out of the box," the device is not without its drawbacks, particularly concerning audio quality. A recurring theme in customer feedback is the presence of a significant 60 Hz hum that impacts sound clarity. This hum is not disclosed in the product descriptions, which has led to frustration among users who expect a seamless experience for a product priced at $220. The device seems to work effectively for basic recording purposes; however, it requires users to engage in additional steps to mitigate the hum. The suggested methods—such as adjusting input gain or using equalization in either real-time or post-production—while potentially effective, can be seen as cumbersome by customers who expected a more polished audio output. One user noted that the option to record was contingent on a specific setup (disconnecting the power to dial out), which could be cumbersome in a dynamic recording environment. Users express a need for better clarity in audio output, with some comparing the results unfavorably to alternatives. A few reviewers noted that while post-production efforts to reduce hiss were difficult, the product still met their basic expectations. Overall, the Inline Patch Telephone Audio Recorder Interface is seen as a functional tool for specific recording needs, but users must be prepared to tackle audio quality issues with extra effort. ####
