It functions perfectly with Gorilla GLMPXT-19 ladder to build a scaffold. Its expansions from each end are 12 inches wide and it works great for painting places high up with a brush. However, it is a little heavy compared to others and opening and closing the plank might need some practice as it gets harder with bigger sizes. Its narrow point is 13 inches wide during use and the exact width at the widest point is 15 inches. This product is adjustable to adjusts to the length you need—available in 6’ to 9’ and it starts out at 6' and can extend to 9'. It can extend out without bending or breaking if you are mindful of weight limit. Moreover, it can also be used with a ladder jack.
