The silicone chess pieces come in a retail box with a plastic tray, and they are not chipped. A tournament size board with 2.25 inch squares would be appropriate. Customers love the weight, quality and beauty of these pieces, and found them well-made and heavy enough not to move during play. One customer experienced tearing of the box and plastic inside, and the felt was separate from the pieces which they had to glue back. However, they chose not to return the product due to its beauty and requested the seller to send a box and white plastics. Overall, customers are very happy with the set and highly recommend it.
