While it cannot be used on induction stoves, it works well on glass cook tops, and is perfect for making big batches of soup or spaghetti sauce. The pot is made in China from high quality stainless steel and has a very heavy, durable build. It is not recommended for dishwashers, but cleaning it by hand has proven to be easy and efficient. Although it is not deep enough for two layers of pint jars during canning, it can hold up to 8 quart jars with a thin rack to keep them off the bottom. Overall, the Prime Pacific 18/10 Stainless Steel 20 Quart Stock Pot with Glass Lid is a highly recommended product for anyone looking for a large and durable pot for cooking.
