Answer: It fits all Sunsun and Aqua top canister filters. -

Where exactly does each of these media go? my hw304b has no instruction on how to install media.
Answer: The filter water is clean starting at the bottom after it flows past the UV light. So you should have your course pad on the very bottom with a fine pad on top of it in the bottom tray. Next, you should have another fine pad with your activated carbon on top of it in the second tray. Then put in the bio balls in the third tray and put the ceramic pieces into the top try. Weather or not you place extra filter pads under the bio balls and ceramic pieces is up to you. -

have this filter setup for turtle tank for 3 months and has just stopped working properly do i need to replace media
Answer: I would first rinse the media out in your aquarium water. If that doesn't work, replace the impeller. -

Answer: I doubt it states how often but you should replaced carbon every 2 weeks if you choose to use it (I do not). I would rinse out the mechanical filters (pads) as soon as you notice water flow decreasing. I don't use their biological filter as it's not that great. -

What order do I stack my media
Answer: Mechanical/filter pads on bottom, furthest from the return/first then it doesn't really matter. However if it is the sunsun filter carbon and/or rings depend on the number of baskets you have and bio ball on top, bio ball float so it is easier for maintenance if it at the top. -

what dimensions are these bags and are they zippered or sewn?
Answer: Trash..don't buy them.! -

Should you ever replace the bio-balls or ceramic rings?
Answer: I never do. You shouldn't even rinse them off when you change other filters. Just set them aside when changing. That works for me -

The SunSun Canister Filter Media Set (Double Pack) is designed for use with SunSun’s canister filters. The set contains four different types of media: coarse pads, fine pads, activated carbon and bio balls, and ceramic pieces. According to the FAQs, the coarse pad should be placed on the very bottom, followed by a fine pad in the bottom tray. In the second tray, another fine pad should be placed with the activated carbon on top. The bio balls should be placed in the third tray with the ceramic pieces in the top tray. It is optional to place extra filter pads under the bio balls and ceramic pieces. Based on reviews, the product performs well and is effective in keeping tanks safe. However, some customers have noted that the media does not come in individual bags as shown in the product image, and may arrive unsealed, leading to carbon spreading throughout the packaging.
