  • Question: How much weight can it hold? Can it be used as an extra seat?

    Answer: I wouldn't sit on it! I do use it as a 'table' with a wooden tray on it for coffee and drinks, etc. Only the cat is allowed to sit on it! He weighs 30lbs. I am 130lbs and not allowed!
  • Question: Is the lid removable or able to fold backwards flat? I’m looking to keep it open as a shoe basket in the entryway.

    Answer: I use this trunk to store my shoes and also a small coffee table in my RV. The top would be easy to remove and folds back. The liner can be removed to be washed also. Happy with this chest.
