The unit has bridge controls, boost options and heats pots through electromagnetic energy that interacts directly with pots. Induction cooktops heat and cool much faster, and the Empava 36” Electric Stove Induction Cooktop with 5 Booster Burners Including 2 Flexi Bridge Element in Black EMPV-IDCF9 is very low profile so it does not radiate heat and there is no heat on the stove top. The controls are easy to use and are intuitive. The price range is perfect for those who do not want to spend thousands on an induction cooktop. The unit works well for small fry pans, from a 7 1/4 Dutch oven to a 12-inch skillet. The liner under the cast iron griddle is a reinforced silicone pad so pans do not scratch the cooktop. However, there are some negative reviews which mainly criticised the customer service of the manufacturer. Additionally, it can be difficult to see the controls and the elements are only 3 inches, making it difficult to cook food evenly. Some reviewers also reported that the product was noisy.
