The Lift Safety Dax Carbon Fiber Hard Hat is a lightweight and comfortable hard hat that comes in only one size but with an adjustable internal strap. It is made of 100% carbon fiber and is perfect for everyday wear. However, it is not MSMA approved for hard rock mining as it could break easily and does not offer protection. The hat comes with 18RS suspension and has a beautiful stealth look, with a glossy finish rather than a matte one. The ratcheting tightener is also a nice feature but the original head straps that come with it are uncomfortable and could cause headaches and hair to get caught in it. It is recommended to replace them with a nicer head strap. Despite being lightweight and looking good, some users have reported quality control issues, such as chipping or cracks. Overall, the Lift Safety Dax Carbon Fiber Hard Hat is a comfortable and lightweight hard hat suitable for everyday wear, but it is not suitable for environments that require high protection.
